If you are considering any remodeling, we highly recommend Locklear Interiors! Our Willow Springs home is almost 25 years old, so for the past several years we have had several rooms in our home remodeled. Two years ago when we decided to remodel our kitchen, we decided to get the expert advice of an interior designer instead of just getting a contractor. We didn't just want our cabinets and counter-tops replaced, we wanted a gourmet kitchen! We realized that we needed the keen eye of an interior decorator to visualize a new design for us. Gail Locklear's involvement in our kitchen design made us feel confident that we would end up with our dream kitchen. Gail selected highly skilled subcontractors for our cabinetry, granite, flooring and tile. Her sequence of design and installation was very well planned and executed. Gail always made us feel as though we were her only customers. She closely worked with us to establish an aesthetic functional design within a realistic budget. Our house reached the age when it was time for renovation and we decided to begin with the master bath. Locklear Interiors is near the entrance to our subdivision so we stopped by for a consultation. Gail impressed us right away with her ability to sense our style and taste. After looked at the house she immediately envisioned a concept that sounded perfect for us. The bath area has lots of glass and she proposed a design with a resort spa feel to take advantage of the openness of the space. She was very sensitive to our input and we are highly satisfied with the outcome.

Recently we decided to renovate the kitchen and breakfast area. Again, Gail envisioned a concept with a modern look and efficient design. For this project she worked with a builder who we wanted to use, Stone Column Properties, rather than the ones she typically uses. The coordination between Gail and our builder was excellent. Both are perfectionists and they worked very well together. The project was done precisely on schedule with minimum disruption to our use of the kitchen.

Our next project is to renovate the great room/dining room area. Before we even began the kitchen renovation, Gail sketched a plan for the great room in order to coordinate the two and avoid unnecessary changes in the future.

We are very pleased with Gail's ability to conceptualize a design that matched our tastes and also the way she worked with the builder at every step to make sure the work was completed as she wanted.

Gail Locklear of Locklear Interiors, has totally redecorated the interior and exterior of our home. We started the project thinking we were only going to update the kitchen! The project got bigger and more expansive as we ended up redecorating the entire interior of our home. Many of our changes have been architectural additions, details that have made such a difference in the feel of warmth in our home. Of course, the new furnishings, carpeting and draperies have created a home of elegance, yet comfort that we never expected.
